Instructions for setting up broadcasting via VIRTUAL DJ software
This article will show you how to start broadcasting with Virtual DJ.
- Warning! You will need a Shoutcast server to broadcast through this program.
- The first thing you’ll need is the latest version of Virtual DJ. You can download it here.
- After completing the installation, start the program and begin setting up broadcasting. To do this, go to the Record tab, select the Broadcasting section and click Config

Setting up broadcasting
- In the window that appears, find the Record from table – there you can specify the sound source. Master – music only, Master + MIC – music and microphone, Line IN – external source. If you check Auto-Start, the broadcast will start automatically.
- In the Format table select Shoutcast (MP3) and the bitrate of your data plan (in our example it is 128 kbps)
- In the Server table, select Broadcast to a radio server and enter the data taken from your personal account.

Taking data from your personal account
In the field Server — enter the address of the broadcast server (in our example, stream0.radiostyle.ru)
In the field Port — enter the broadcast server port (in our example it is 9005)
In the field Name — enter the name of your radio station
In the field Password — enter the broadcast password (in our example it is 123, you can view your password in myAlpari by clicking on the “View Password” button)
On the menu Genre — you can enter the station genre.

Enter the broadcast settings taken from your personal account
Press OK and Start recording. Go to the Browser tab, find the songs you want, move them to one of the decks, and press play.
